Personal Support Worker (Short-Term Contract)

Position Overview

Springcare Solutions is seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide one-on-one support to a home care client on a short-term contract.

Available Shifts:

- 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Awake overnight shift – this is not a sleep shift.)

Responsibilities Duties may include, but are not limited to:

- Personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Laundry and maintaining a clean home environment
- Companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with daily living activities
- Medication reminders (if applicable)
- Community outings and errands




- Accurate documentation and communication with the care team

Qualifications

- Personal Support Worker Certificate
- Current CPR & First Aid Certification
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check
- Reliable transportation is considered an asset
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, client-focused approach
