Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need, including seniors and those with disabilities. Your support will enhance their quality of life by helping them with daily activities and ensuring a secure and comfortable living environment. Specifically , we have a client looking for a Live In PSW in St. Catharines.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Help with medication administration as per care plans.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning tasks.
- Support clients in engaging in social activities and community involvement.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.





Skills

- Experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is preferred.
- Background in senior care or working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.
- Strong caregiving skills, including empathy, patience, and communication abilities.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and maintain a tidy environment.
- Competence in meal preparation that caters to individual dietary requirements.

Job Type: Casual Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
