We are currently looking for a reliable and customer-focused Pest Control Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who solves emergency client problems and helps a local small business grow.

Position Overview The Pest Control Technician will inspect residential and commercial properties, identify pest issues, perform pest management treatments, and educate customers on preventative solutions. You will represent Garden City Pest Control professionally while delivering safe, effective, and high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect residential and commercial properties for signs of pest activity.
- Identify pest problems and recommend appropriate treatment solutions.
- Perform pest control treatments using company-approved methods and products.
- Educate customers on pest prevention and maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain accurate service reports and treatment documentation.
- Follow company procedures, provincial regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized condition.
- Deliver friendly, professional, and respectful customer service during every appointment.
- Works independently after completing initial paired training

Required Qualifications

- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Must currently live in or near Victoria, British Columbia.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.




- Adaptable and willing to learn new skills.
- Strong active listening and interpersonal skills.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service appointments.
- Ability to safely lift and carry tall or heavy ladders
- Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and in confined spaces when required.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials

Garden City Pest Control provides training and licensing support for successful candidates. Preferred Qualifications The following are considered assets but are not required:

- Structural Pest Control license
- Landscaping, and maintenance backgrounds
