Duties

- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing in accordance with medical orders and safety protocols
- Maintain organized stock levels by receiving deliveries, checking expiration dates, and restocking shelves efficiently
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions about over-the-counter products and medication instructions under supervision
- Ensure accurate documentation of prescriptions, inventory records, and patient information in compliance with privacy regulations
- Support medication administration processes by preparing supplies for nursing staff or healthcare providers as needed




- Conduct routine cleanliness checks of the pharmacy area to uphold safety standards and hygiene practices
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to streamline workflow and enhance patient experience

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a hospital setting or pharmacy workplace is highly preferred
- Proven pharmacy technician experience demonstrating familiarity with medication handling and pharmacy procedures
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy operations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and team members
- Ability to accurately manage medication inventory and follow detailed instructions for medication administration
- Commitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality at all times
- Basic computer skills for record keeping and pharmacy management systems
