PeerConnect Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Richmond, BC.

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist with the preparation of prescriptions and the dispensing of medications. Support the pharmacy in the daily operations. You will also be involved in Outreach work delivering medications to patients in our Richmond Community

Responsibilities

- Prepare, pack and label packages of medication following all safety procedures
- Perform quality assurance tests to ensure that medications are of high quality and free of defects
- Receive, verify and stock medications per protocol
- Maintain a clean work setting
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the pharmacist or supervisor, as needed

Experience/Education/Licenses/Certifications/Certification Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.




- Must have experience in a pharmacy setting (preferred).
- Must have experience in patient care. (preferred).
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen. Job Type: Part time

Pay: $18.50-$21.50 per hour
