We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing patient interactions, and maintaining pharmacy operations. Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Manage inventory, including restocking medications and verifying stock levels
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under supervision
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing insurance claims
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment following safety protocols




- Support medication administration processes as directed by licensed professionals
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper storage of pharmaceuticals

Skills

- Prior experience in hospital or pharmacy technician roles preferred
- Robust knowledge of medical terminology and medication management processes
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in prescription processing
- Compassionate patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Organizational skills to manage inventory and administrative duties efficiently
