We are looking for an outgoing, energetic, and motivated PTA/Kinesiologist to join our team and help inspire patients on their path to better health. We're looking for candidates who are passionate about delivering excellent patient care.

Physiomed is an established interdisciplinary patient care clinic, with over 20 years at this location, offering a complete range of coordinated rehabilitative services, including physiotherapy, chiropractic, registered massage therapy, nutritional counselling, acupuncture, naturopathy, clinical conditioning, and medical products.

Hours

Our hours of operation are as follows:

- Monday to Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available. Exact working hours are still being finalized, but shifts will include Saturdays (9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.) and some weekdays finishing at 8:00 p.m. Candidates are paid for all scheduled working hours, not just hours spent with a patient/client.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Execute patient treatment plans prescribed by the physiotherapist and deliver high-quality customer service.
- Report to the physiotherapist and clinical director.
- Maintain a high patient retention rate and ensure patients are booking appointments.
- Accurately document all SOAP notes while implementing active and passive programs.

Requirements

- Excellent knowledge of exercise prescription and supervision.




- The ideal candidate would be able to easily respond to questions similar to the following: "Can you please describe an exercise protocol that would begin a patient on a series of introductory core stabilizing exercises, and then describe how you would advance the exercises as the patient is able to progress?"
- University education with a kinesiology degree is preferred; a co-op component to this degree is an asset.
- Manual therapy knowledge is an asset.
- Dynamic and energetic personality with a passion for promoting health and wellness.
- Ability to speak Arabic fluently is an asset.
