Physiotherapist Assistant (PTA) Full-Time or Part-time Part Immediate Start Telma Grant Physio & Sports Therapy is a busy, well established private orthopaedic physiotherapy clinic in Bowmanville, Ontario. Since 1991, we have built our reputation on providing exceptional, evidence informed patient care in a welcoming and supportive environment. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Physiotherapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team.

Our preference is to hire a full-time PTA. However, we will consider exceptional candidates seeking part-time employment. Because this is an immediate opening, we are looking for someone who can step into a busy outpatient orthopaedic practice with minimal orientation.

Previous experience working in an outpatient orthopaedic physiotherapy clinic is required.

Responsibilities Carry out treatment plans prescribed by the physiotherapist. Supervise and progress therapeutic exercise programs. Apply therapeutic modalities as directed. Accurately document all treatments using our electronic medical record. Communicate patient progress with the treating physiotherapist. Maintain a clean, organized treatment area. Provide outstanding patient care with professionalism,



compassion, and enthusiasm.

Qualifications Graduate of a Physiotherapist Assistant (PTA) or OTA/PTA diploma program. Previous experience in an outpatient orthopaedic physiotherapy clinic is required. Able to confidently manage prescribed exercise programs and treatment sessions in a busy clinical environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Comfortable using electronic medical records.

Experience with Practice Perfect is an asset. Legally entitled to work in Canada.
