Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Polisher to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for enhancing the surface finish of various metal and composite components, ensuring they meet strict quality standards. Duties

- Operate polishing equipment and hand tools to achieve smooth, high-quality finishes on metal parts and assemblies
- Use CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brake machines to prepare components for polishing
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to understand specifications and tolerances
- Perform quality control inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify surface finish and dimensions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper packaging of finished products for shipment
- Collaborate with machining, welding, assembly, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless production flow
- Follow safety protocols diligently when operating forklifts, hand tools, or working with heavy machinery

Requirements





- Proven experience with polishing techniques in a manufacturing or machining workplace
- Familiarity with Fanuc automation systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable
- Ability to operate CNC programming software such as SolidWorks or CAD for setup adjustments
- Knowledge of CNC programming principles for milling, lathe work, and press brake operations
- Experience with welding, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge to understand complex assemblies
- Proficiency in using hand tools like grinders, sanders, calipers, and measuring instruments for precision work
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation certification is a plus
- Strong math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances
- Understanding of quality control standards within manufacturing environments
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented setting while maintaining attention to detail
