Overview

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent customer service skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Manage food presentation to ensure visual appeal and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and billing
- Handle cashiering duties including cash handling and processing payments accurately
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and special requests
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation

Requirements

- Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or food service setting
- Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order accuracy, and inventory management
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends or evenings if required
