Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Preparation Worker to join our team. As a Food Preparation Worker, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and assembly of food items, ensuring that they meet quality and safety standards. This is an entry-level position that offers opportunities for growth and development within our organization.

Duties:

- Assist in the preparation and assembly of food items according to established recipes and portion sizes
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas
- Measure, weigh, and portion ingredients accurately
- Package and label food items for storage or distribution
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent




- Previous experience in a food service or kitchen setting is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
