Primary Responsibilities for the Press Assistant:

- Assist Press Operator with set-up and take-down of printing jobs
- Adjust machine parts as directed by Press Operator
- Lift and position raw material in feed mechanism,



using chain hoist, hand truck or electric lift-truck
- Remove loaded skid of printed material from stacking mechanism using hand truck, and replace with empty skid
- Fill chambers with ink
- Assist with press maintenance
- Assist Press Operator with removing and replacing worn rollers and adjusting pressure rollers
- Maintain cleanliness of work area
- Monitor the quality of the product being produced and ensure it meets quality standards
- Perform other related duties and tasks as required to meet the needs of our operations

Qualifications for the Press Assistant:

- Attention to detail
- Team-player
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Great written and verbal communication

Hours: Afternoon Shift, Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 2:30pm
