As RONCO continues to grow, we are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Pricing Analyst to support pricing strategy, profitability, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain, the Pricing Analyst plays an significant role in helping RONCO maintain competitive, profitable, and sustainable pricing strategies.

This position works closely with Suppl y Chain, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management, and Operations to analyze costs, margins, market trends, competitor pricing, regional pricing, and discount activity.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, identifying trends, solving business problems, and turning financial and market information into practical recommendations. With RONCO operating across Canada and through its China and Mexico businesses, the Pricing Analyst will also have exposure to regional pricing considerations, cost-to-serve analysis, freight, market positioning, and cross-functional decision-making.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

1. Cost of Sales & Financial Analysis

- Analyze cost of sales (COGS), gross margins, and profitability at product, customer, and regional levels.
- Review cost structures regularly to ensure pricing reflects current material, labour, and overhead costs.
- Identify margin erosion, pricing leaks, and cost variances, recommending corrective actions.
- Support Finance in forecasting, budgeting, and modelling product profitability.

2. Market & Competitor Price Analysis

- Conduct ongoing product price comparisons against competitors and market benchmarks.
- Monitor industry pricing trends, competitive landscape developments, and market conditions.




- Provide competitive intelligence reports to guide strategic pricing decisions.
- Recommend price adjustments to maintain market alignment while protecting margins.

3. Regional Pricing Management

- Develop and maintain regional pricing models based on cost-to-serve, freight, demand, and market positioning.
- Review and adjust regional pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Support regional managers and sales teams with localized pricing insights and recommendations.

4. Discount Governance & Claim Back Validation

- Evaluate and approve additional discount requests within established pricing authority.
- Ensure discounts align with corporate margin requirements and pricing policies.
- Review, validate, and process vendor or customer claim backs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agreements.
- Track and analyze discount utilization, providing insights to reduce unnecessary discounting.

5. Pricing Strategy, Tools & Reporting

- Maintain and update pricing databases, tools, and price lists across all product categories.
- Support new product introductions by developing cost-based and market-based pricing recommendations.
- Prepare pricing performance dashboards, KPIs, and monthly pricing reports for management review.
- Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes, automate workflows, and enhance data accuracy.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
- Participate in product launches, business reviews, and strategic pricing initiatives.
- Provide training on pricing policies and margin management to Sales and Customer Service teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field .
- 2–5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or a related analytical role.




- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or consumer products is preferred.
- Experience with an ERP system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central .
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, gross margin analysis, and competitive pricing methodologies .

Skills & Knowledge

- Analytical & Quantitative Skills - Strong ability to interpret complex financial and operational data and translate findings into meaningful business recommendations.
- Pricing & Profitability Knowledge - Solid understanding of COGS, gross margin calculations, pricing structures, discount frameworks, and competitive market dynamics.
- Commercial & Strategic Thinking - Ability to evaluate product and regional profitability, price elasticity, customer behaviour, and market positioning.
- Communication & Collaboration - Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to management and work effectively across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.
- Accuracy & Organization - High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Problem Solving - Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to identify pricing risks, analyze root causes, and recommend practical solutions.

Compensation The salary of this role is $55,000 - 60,000 CAD annually. Why Join RONCO?
