- 2+ years of experience

- Proficient in at least one of Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript

- Comfortable in agentic coding tools

- Familiar with HTML, CSS, Typescript, and frameworks/libraries like React, Next.js, etc

- Experience driving product improvements end to end, including deciding what problems are worth solving and how to solve them
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- A love for technology, and an insatiable curiosity for new tools to solve real problems

What the job involves

- Our mission in the Brand pillar is to make it easy for Brands to create high-quality product listings on Faire, keep them up to date, and get them in front of retailers. Having access to well-curated catalogs of products lets Main Street retailers compete with big-box stores and we’re responsible for the first step in that journey

- As a Product Engineer on the Brand pillar, you will be responsible for planning and building features end-to-end, working alongside product, design,



and data to achieve our mission

- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and marketing to contribute significantly to the success of the business or the engineering platform

- Identify and capitalize on new opportunities, overseeing complex multi-phase projects across multiple teams and platforms from concept to implementation

- Build features across multiple stacks, potentially including Backend, Frontend, and Mobile

- Optimize web applications for peak performance and scalability, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, fast, and scalable code

- Mentor fellow engineers on both technical and product judgement
