Production Worker — D&J; Sausage Factory (Brantford, ON)

D&J; Sausage Factory, a Brantford-based producer of European-style deli meats and smoked specialties, is looking for a hardworking, reliable, and committed Production Helper to support our day-to-day manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

- Assist with meat processing tasks including trimming, grinding, mixing, and stuffing
- Hanging and gathering sausage from the production area
- Support smoking, cooking, and packaging processes under supervision
- Load and unload product from equipment, racks, and coolers
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas per food safety standards
- Weigh, label, and prepare finished products for storage or shipment
- Assist with receiving raw materials and organizing inventory
- Follow all HACCP, food safety, and workplace safety procedures




- Perform general labour duties as directed by the production supervisor

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment an asset, but not required — training provided
- Ability to work in a cold, fast-paced production environment
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to food safety and cleanliness
- Food Handler Certification an asset (or willingness to obtain)
