About the role

Cinewriters is accepting applications for future opportunities supporting Rooted in Land & Lens.This role will help organize participant communication, outreach, scheduling and program materials as project needs and timelines are finalized.

The Program

Communications and Outreach Assistant will work closely with the project lead to support recruitment, maintain clear communication with applicants and community partners and help keep the planning process organized.This position is remote and may involve occasional virtual meetings.

Responsibilities

- Communicate with applicants and participants
- Coordinate outreach with community partners
- Organize schedules, forms and project documents
- Prepare participant resources and workshop materials
- Track project deadlines and follow ups
- Assist with recruitment and social media outreach




- Research partnerships and community organizations
- Maintain accurate records and confidential information

Qualifications

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
- Proficient with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Experience with community outreach or program coordination is an asset
- Interest in youth development, filmmaking or outdoor education is preferred
- Professional, reliable and able to meet deadlines

Must be legally authorized to work in the country where services are provided
