Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Coordinator / Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all Microsoft platforms, CAAD, Blue Beam, client meetings, all project submittals including RFI’s, construction schedules, change orders, pricing, emails, solid relationships with suppliers and subtrades
Duties
- Develop and manage project schedules using construction management software to ensure timely completion
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to facilitate accurate project planning and execution
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to align project objectives and deliverables
- Utilize Bluebeam for document review, markup, and collaboration on construction drawings and plans
- Prepare detailed construction estimates utilizing estimating tools to establish budgets and resource allocations
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits, meetings, and reporting to ensure adherence to schedules and specifications
- Implement construction management best practices focusing on safety, quality control, and efficiency
- Track project costs, timelines, and resource utilization to optimize performance
Experience
- Proven experience in construction project management or coordination roles within the civil or heavy infrastructure sectors
- Proficiency with construction management software such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and quality assurance protocols
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining clear communication among all stakeholders
- Prior experience in civil engineering or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; relevant certifications or training in project management are advantageous
This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute significantly to complex construction projects while advancing their career within a dynamic industry environment. Pay: $25.00-$34.00 per hour
