About the Role uTrack Energy is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented intern to join our Operations team for a four-month term (Sept to Dec 2026). This is a hands-on role at the intersection of accounts receivable, customer support, and business development, ideal for someone who wants exposure to how a growing energy submetering company manages customer relationships, cash flow, and sales pipeline all at once. You'll work closely with our operations team and take real ownership of accounts and deliverables from day one.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and update the overdue accounts tracker, flagging accounts as they age past due

- Coordinate disconnection notices and processes for non-paying accounts, in line with company policy

- Call and email customers directly to follow up on overdue balances and payment arrangements

- Manage accounts placed with our third-party debt collection agency, including status updates and documentation

- Prepare regular reports on overdue balances and collection agency performance for management

- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in a professional, timely manner

- Help resolve billing and account questions, escalating where needed





- Support the creation of marketing materials and pitch decks for prospective clients and partners

What We're Looking For

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in business, finance, sales, marketing, or a related field

- Comfortable making outbound calls and having direct conversations with customers about payments

- Robust written communication skills, particularly for professional email correspondence

- Organized and comfortable managing multiple accounts and trackers at once

- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides, Word/Docs)

- A proactive, ownership-driven attitude — comfortable asking questions and following up independently

- Prior experience in customer service is an asset but not required
