Canada U-Tutoring Learning Institute is seeking an experienced Public Speaking and Debate Tutor to teach small groups of children and teenagers.

Requirements

- Fluent spoken and written English with excellent pronunciation and communication skills
- At least 2 years of experience teaching public speaking, debate, speech, or a closely related subject
- Strong knowledge of speech structure, presentation skills, argument development, rebuttal, and debate techniques
- Experience teaching children or high school students
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans, exercises, and assessments
- Patient, qualified, reliable, and able to build students’ confidence
- Debate competition, coaching, or award experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities:




- Plan and deliver structured public speaking and debate lessons
- Help students improve confidence, presentation, critical thinking, and debate skills
- Adapt instruction to different ages and ability levels
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents and the Institute

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate

- Markham, ON L3R 8G5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:
- English teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- Public speaking: 1 year (preferred)
