Responsibilities

- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to support their independence and comfort

- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and safety protocols

- Provide compassionate care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being

- Support meal preparation and feeding to meet nutritional needs while respecting dietary restrictions

- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic and welcoming environment in residents’ rooms or care areas

- Help with mobility exercises and transfers using proper techniques to prevent injury





- Document care activities thoroughly in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards

Requirements

- Prior experience in assisted living settings or nursing homes is highly preferred

- Demonstrated experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities, including dementia care

- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols

- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities

- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently

- Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent is required; ongoing training is supported

- Experience working in home care environments is a plus
