Full Description

As a Python Programmer I at Hiredbuddy, you will be an essential part of our development team. You will work alongside experienced engineers to build, test, and maintain software solutions that serve our clients effectively. This role is designed for someone with foundational Python skills and a strong desire to learn and grow in a professional environment.

You will be responsible for writing efficient, readable, and well-documented code, as well as participating in code reviews and team discussions.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and maintaining Python applications, debugging and fixing issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions. You will also write unit tests and participate in continuous integration processes to ensure code quality. We value clean code practices, so you will be expected to follow PEP 8 guidelines and use tools like Git for version control.

Technologies you will work with include Python 3.x, common libraries such as NumPy and Pandas for data manipulation, web frameworks like Flask or Django (depending on the project), and SQL for database interactions. You will also use development tools like PyCharm or VS Code, and learn to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements

0-2 years of experience in Python development

Basic understanding of Python data structures and algorithms

Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles

Experience with version control systems, preferably Git

Knowledge of SQL and relational databases is a plus

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Good communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
