Position Summary:

The Q-Optics Territory Manager is responsible for driving growth and brand loyalty through a deeply client-centric sales approach. This role combines proactive prospecting, relationship-based selling, and educational engagement across private practitioners, institutional accounts. The representative serves as a trusted advisor, delivering consultative product experiences and long-term value while representing the company at continuing education events, trade shows, and industry forums.

Location: Mainland, British Columbia

Responsibilities:

Client-Centric Sales & Relationship Management

- Build, nurture, and sustain long-term relationships with dental, medical, and surgical professionals.
- Serve as a trusted product advisor, guiding clients through selection, fitting, customization, and post-sale support.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience before, during, and after the sale.
- Proactively follow up to ensure satisfaction, product performance, and ongoing engagement.




- Capture client feedback and insights to inform product development and service improvements.
- Actively intervene and resolve service issues on loupes.

Practitioner Prospecting

- Identify and engage new private-practice prospects within the assigned territory.
- Conduct in-office demonstrations, fittings, and consultations.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline through consistent outreach and relationship-building.
- Convert prospects into loyal clients through consultative selling.

Institutional Prospecting

- Build strategic relationships with clinics, group practices, and corporate healthcare organizations and hospitals.
- Develop tailored proposals and account strategies for institutional buyers.
- Navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles and procurement processes.
- Position the brand as a long-term partner, not just a product vendor.

Teaching Institution Prospecting

- Engage students, faculty, through on-campus presentations and fittings.
- Build early brand loyalty with future practitioners.
- Continuing Education (CE) Events
- Plan, organize, and execute CE events in collaboration with practitioners, institutions, and local partners.
- Educate attendees on product features, ergonomics, and clinical benefits.
- Capture leads, build relationships, and convert attendees into long-term clients.
- Represent the brand as a thought leader in visual ergonomics and clinical performance.

Trade Shows & Industry Events

- Represent the company at regional and national trade shows.
- Conduct live demonstrations, fittings, and consultations.
- Engage attendees in meaningful conversations focused on needs, outcomes, and long-term value.




- Follow up on leads promptly and effectively.

Territory & Business Development Management

- Develop and execute a territory business plan aligned with revenue and relationship-building goals.
- Maintain accurate customer records, including leads, opportunities.
- Track performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, customer support) to ensure seamless client experiences.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred or RDH designation
- 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in medical, dental, optical, or healthcare products.
- Proven success in relationship-based, consultative selling.
- Strong prospecting, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience working with institutions and educational organizations is a plus.
- Comfortable presenting at events and engaging groups of professionals.
- Highly organized with strong time-management and CRM skills.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and attend trade shows and events.
