Job Title: Python Developer - AI

Location: Mississauga, ON

6 months contract to hire

3 days onsite per week

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related STEM field.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5+ years developing enterprise Python solutions.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python, FastAPI, Flask, REST APIs, and microservices development.
- Experience designing distributed, event-driven systems and asynchronous architectures.
- Experience building enterprise integration solutions using Kafka, MQ, Event Hubs, or similar messaging technologies.
- Experience with Agentic AI architectures, AI orchestration frameworks, MCP, and LLM-enabled applications.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, resiliency, and security principles.




- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
- Experience working with Linux, shell scripting, containers, and cloud-native environments.
- Solid stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with GenAI, LLM platforms, RAG architectures, AI agents, and prompt orchestration.
- Familiarity with AI governance, model risk management, controls, and auditability frameworks.
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, and cloud platforms.
- Banking, risk management, regulatory, or financial services experience.
- Knowledge of capital markets and financial products.
