About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Analyst to join our dynamic team at EXFO Inc. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive testing of our network protocol testing products.

Your expertise will contribute to ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of our solutions, which are integral to the telecommunications infrastructure. Working within an Agile SCRUM environment, you will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to develop, implement, and refine testing strategies.

Your role will involve designing test scenarios, automating tests, and integrating testing processes into our continuous integration pipeline. This position offers an excellent opportunity to influence product quality at a strategic level and work on innovative projects in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8-12 years of experience in quality assurance within a high-tech environment,



specifically related to network products and protocols. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.

Fluency in both French and English, both verbal and written, is essential to effectively communicate across our diverse team. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Proven expertise in testing network equipment, understanding of networking concepts such as Ethernet and TCP/IP, and experience with mobile device testing are critical.

Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks will be considered an asset, enabling you to drive efficiencies through automation and continuous testing practices.

Responsibilities

- Implement and advocate for effective testing strategies early in the development lifecycle, educating team members on their benefits and application.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select appropriate testing tools that align with our technical stack and team preferences.
- Define, review, and execute test scenarios throughout the development process, ensuring comprehensive coverage and accuracy.
- Encourage and facilitate collaboration during grooming sessions to define acceptance criteria, incorporating testing considerations such as BDD formats like "Given-When-Then".
- Lead efforts to automate test scenario execution, ensuring consistency and supporting regression testing efforts.
- Integrate testing processes into the team's Definition of Done (DoD)



and ensure test automation is part of the continuous integration (CI) pipeline.
- Conduct regular review sessions to gather feedback, update test scenarios, and ensure they reflect current requirements and desired behaviors.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Refine testing processes based on lessons learned, fostering a culture of collaboration and ongoing enhancement of testing strategies.
