What We're Looking For

✅ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related discipline)

✅ Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within a Tier 1 automotive supplier

✅ Strong working knowledge of:

- PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
- APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
- FMEA (PFMEA & DFMEA)
- Control Plans
- MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis)
- SPC (Statistical Process Control)
- GD&T;
- Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone)

✅ Experience working directly with OEM customer quality requirements ✅ Knowledge of IATF 16949 , ISO 9001, and automotive quality standards

✅ Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is highly preferred

✅ P.Eng designation is considered a strong asset

✅ Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

What You'll Be Doing

✔ Lead quality planning activities for new product launches, engineering changes, and production transfers

✔ Prepare, review,



and submit PPAP documentation while ensuring customer-specific requirements are met

✔ Support APQP activities from product launch through full production

✔ Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve process capability

✔ Drive root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, and PFMEA

✔ Work closely with Production, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to improve product quality and reduce defects

✔ Participate in internal, customer, and third-party quality audits while ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 requirements

✔ Develop and maintain quality documentation, inspection standards, and process controls

✔ Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing manufacturing efficiency
