As a newly certified Radiation Therapist, you'll be guided by a Radiation Therapist II to prepare, plan, and administer radiation treatments per oncologist prescriptions.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy and be licensed with the Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists. Your ability to effectively communicate and relate to patients will foster therapeutic relationships. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver precise ionizing radiation treatments to patients
- Support treatment planning and simulation processes
- Utilize computer applications for patient data management
- Maintain patient confidentiality and cultural respect
- Cultivate supportive relationships with patients Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Radiation Therapy
- BLS certification required
- Must be licenced with SAMRT
