Job Summary

AltaVitrum is hiring a Railing Installation Helper to support our team in Mississauga, ON (further opportunities to work across the Greater Toronto Area in the future).

You will assist with the installation of railings on residential project. This is a hands-on construction role that involves physical work and learning on the job. In this energetic position, you will assist skilled installers in the construction and installation of railings, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and precision.

Duties

- Assist with the setup and preparation of work sites, including organizing, preparing, and assembly materials.
- Use hand tools such as drills, saws, levels, and hammers to support railing installation tasks.
- Help in handling, and moving materials and equipment on site.
- Support the installation of railings by holding materials in place, aligning components, and securing parts according to specifications.
- Assist senior installers with measurements,



fitting, and finishing.
- Maintain a clean and safe work workplace by following safety protocols and properly handling tools and materials.

Requirements

- Prior experience working with hand tools in construction or glazing is highly desirable.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills on the job.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work physically throughout the day in different weather conditions.
- Valid Working at Heights certification or willingness to obtain it promptly.
- Reliable transportation to job site.
