Position Summary

Reporting to the Site Foreman and Dispatcher, the Redi-Mix Truck Driver is responsible for safely delivering ready-mix concrete to residential, commercial, and municipal job sites while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a professional attitude, attention to safety, and a commitment to delivering quality service every day.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a manual transmission ready-mix truck.
- Deliver concrete to customer job sites efficiently and professionally.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate vehicle inspection reports and logbooks.
- Ensure the truck is kept clean and well maintained.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and fellow team members.
- Operate in accordance with all company safety policies and provincial regulations.




- Represent Ocean Contractors in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have:

- Valid Class 3 Driver's Licence with Air Brake Endorsement.
- Experience operating heavy trucks (ready-mix experience is considered an asset).
- Ability to drive a manual transmission.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and protecting fellow employees.
- Willingness to learn new skills and continually improve.
