WEST CALGARY DENTAL GROUP is seeking a Registered level 2 Dental Assistant. This position requires a person who is enthusiastic about providing superior patient care and values working in a team. West Calgary Dental is a privately owned clinic and has been a solid community presence for decades.

The position would be for weekly Wednesday and Thursday mid-day shifts, but would also provide additional coverage when needed.

Preference given to applicants with five years experience, but new grads are welcome to apply. Some flexibility with hours is necessary as office is open some evenings.

Responsibilities

- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures,



including examinations and restorative treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring sterilization standards are met.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Provide patient education and post-treatment care.
- Manage patient records efficiently using Abeldent dental software.

Requirements

- 5 Year experience
- Valid license or certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).
- Ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology relevant to dentistry and patient care.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy clinical environment.
