Our Philosophy
We believe children learn best through curiosity, meaningful relationships, and time in the natural world. Grounded in the principles of How Does Learning Happen?, our practice is responsive, relationship-based, and intentional. Practitioners are thoughtful co-investigators, who follow children’s interests, create rich environments for exploration, and reflect on their practice alongside their colleagues.
We especially welcome educators who love being outside in all seasons, who are drawn to inquiry and emergent curriculum, and who bring genuine curiosity about children and the world they are discovering. Experience or training in nature-based and outdoor pedagogy is a particular asset as we continue to develop this aspect of our program.
