About Interlink Physiotherapy
We are a physiotherapy clinic in Ancaster focused on providing our patients with the highest-quality care. Our approach includes manual therapy, personalized treatment plans, one-on-one appointments, same-week booking, and being fully transparent with patients, ensuring they are knowledgeable and comfortable during each visit. Our services include rehabilitation, shockwave therapy, ultrasound, cupping, orthotics, and compression stockings.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and implementing individualized rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient’s needs, goals, and lifestyle.
- Support patients through exercises, manual therapy, and mobility training under supervision.
- Monitor patient progress, document treatment sessions accurately, and communicate updates to the lead physiotherapists.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, proper movement techniques, and home exercise routines.
- Ensure patients are well-informed about the root of their pain, and the reasoning behind treatments.
- Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment; tidying rooms after each appointment and preparing for the next patient.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists and clinic staff to provide the best experience for patients.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to document patient interactions and progress notes clearly.
Requirements
- Registration as a Kinesiologist or certification as a Physiotherapy Assistant from an accredited program is an asset.
- Prior experience working in a clinic/medical setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience providing direct patient care in fast-paced clinical settings.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to rehabilitation and physiotherapy practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate patients effectively.
- Personable and eager to work with patients for up to 8 hours day.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the lead physiotherapist and the Interlink team.
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards of safety, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
