First Roots Early Education Academy is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our growing team!

We are a well-established, licensed childcare centre in Richmond Hill offering Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and JK/SK programs. Our centre values collaboration, professionalism, and creating a warm, nurturing environment where both children and educators thrive.

Responsibilities

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs aligned with the How Does Learning Happen? framework
- Create a secure, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
- Observe, document, and support children’s development
- Build strong, professional relationships with families
- Maintain compliance with Ministry licensing standards
- Work collaboratively with team members and management

Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of ECE (CECE)
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C
- Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Positive, team-oriented mindset
