Responsibilities
- Perform personalized massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs, utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or therapeutic massage.
- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals when necessary.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment by adhering to hygiene standards and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, address questions,
and provide exceptional customer service throughout each session.
- Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements to maintain licensure and enhance your skills.
Experience
- Valid registration as a Massage Therapist with the appropriate licensing or certification body in your region.
- Proven experience delivering qualified massage therapy services with positive client outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and wellness.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain treatments and foster trusting relationships with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with maintaining detailed client records and understanding confidentiality standards.
- Prior experience working with diverse client populations is a plus.
