Responsibilities

- Deliver expert nursing care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics and seniors, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times
- Administer medications and treatments accurately following established protocols and medical orders
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner to document patient information thoroughly and efficiently
- Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Perform specialized procedures such as phlebotomy, pain management interventions, and dementia or senior care strategies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans to optimize patient recovery and well-being
- Educate patients and families about medical conditions,



medication usage, and post-discharge care instructions
- Maintain compliance with medical terminology standards and healthcare regulations across all duties

Skills

- Proven experience working in hospital settings with acute care responsibilities and familiarity with medical terminology
- Strong proficiency in electronic health record systems like Epic and Cerner for seamless documentation
- Extensive hospital or nursing home experience with a focus on patient care, including pediatrics, senior care, dementia care, and assisted living environments
- Skilled in medication administration, laboratory procedures, phlebotomy, and pain management techniques
- Knowledge of medical office operations and home care procedures to support diverse patient needs
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and clear patient education
- Ability to handle laboratory tasks confidently while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy
