Plans and provides direct nursing care to patients in a variety of surgical areas as assigned in accordance with unit/program philosophies, competency guidelines, policies and the CRNBC Standards for Nursing Practice in British Columbia.

Qualifications Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant. Two years medical/surgical-nursing experience preferred including chemotherapy administration, pain management.

Skills And Abilities - Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

- Ability to organize assigned workload and set priorities.
- Ability to deal effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts including co-workers, physicians, community agencies' representatives, patients, and families.
