The Centre for Psychedelic Health & Research (CPHR) at Providence Care Hospital is a multidisciplinary hub dedicated to advancing psychedelic medicine, public health, and innovation. Launched in 2024, CPHR focuses on high-quality clinical research, technological development, and broad knowledge translation for diverse communities. The Centre also builds collaborative networks through training programs and professional events that shape the future of psychedelic health.

Role Description: The Research Coordinator is a part time, on-site position based in Kingston, ON, supporting psychedelic health and clinical research projects at CPHR. This role involves coordinating study activities, including participant recruitment, scheduling, consent procedures, and ongoing communication with participants and interdisciplinary team members.

The Research

Coordinator will manage data collection and entry, maintain study documentation, and ensure adherence to research protocols and ethical guidelines.

Responsibilities also include preparing materials for ethics and Institutional Review Board submissions, assisting with progress reports and publications, and facilitating knowledge translation activities such as presentations or educational resources. The role requires close collaboration with clinical staff, investigators,



and partners to ensure timely and high-quality execution of research studies. Qualifications

- Strong research and data collection skills, including experience with study coordination and accurate data entry.
- Proficient analytical skills for interpreting study data, monitoring study progress, and supporting reporting and publication efforts.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with participants, multidisciplinary teams, and external partners in a professional and inclusive manner.
- Knowledge of Institutional Review Board (IRB) or research ethics board processes, including protocol adherence and regulatory compliance.
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, health sciences, neuroscience, public health, or related discipline).
- Experience in clinical or academic research settings; familiarity with mental health or psychedelic research is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple projects.
- Comfort working in a hospital or clinical environment and maintaining high standards of confidentiality and participant safety.
- Proficiency with common research and office software (e.g., spreadsheets, databases, electronic data capture tools).
