Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a welcoming setting
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe, hygienic living space for residents
- Observe and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior to nursing staff or supervisors promptly
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
and coordinate with healthcare professionals as needed
Skills
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care environments is highly valued
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia care needs is preferred
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, compassion, and active listening abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and residents
