Role Description The Rigger will work full time on-site in Winnipeg, MB, supporting the installation, maintenance, and removal of telecommunications equipment on towers, rooftops, and other structures. Day-to-day tasks include safely rigging and lifting materials, setting up and inspecting rigging equipment, assisting with antenna and cable installations, and following detailed work plans and diagrams. The role involves working at heights, performing pre-job safety checks, using hand and power tools, and collaborating with installation and engineering teams to complete projects on schedule.





The Rigger will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of work performed and adhering to all company and regulatory safety standards.

Qualifications Ability to work safely at heights, including experience with fall protection systems, climbing, and tower or structural work.

Knowledge of basic rigging principles, including hoisting, load handling, and the use of slings, ropes, and hardware.

Skill in using hand and power tools, equipment set-up, and basic mechanical troubleshooting in the field.

Strong attention to safety procedures, hazard recognition, and adherence to regulatory and company guidelines.

Capacity to read and follow work instructions, site drawings, and installation specifications.

Effective teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, crew members, and other trade professionals.

Physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as climbing, lifting, and working in varying weather conditions.

Relevant certifications such as fall protection, first aid/CPR, and tower climbing or rigging training are an asset.

Previous experience in telecommunications, construction, or industrial rigging is preferred but not mandatory.
