About the Role
Fluke Transport Limited is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Safety & Compliance Coordinator to join our Hamilton team.
This position supports the day-to-day safety and regulatory requirements of our transportation operation. You will work closely with our Safety & Compliance team to maintain driver and equipment records, monitor compliance requirements, coordinate documentation, and help ensure our fleet remains safe, compliant, and audit-ready.

What You’ll Do
- Maintain driver qualification files, onboarding records, and training documentation.
- Monitor driver licences, medical certificates, and certification renewals.
- Review and track hours-of-service documentation and compliance requirements.
- Maintain TDG, WHMIS, and other required training records.
- Follow up on outstanding driver documentation and compliance items.
- Prepare and organize records for internal, customer, insurance, and regulatory audits.
- Assist with MTO, IFTA, IRP, CTPAT, and other applicable transportation compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready compliance records.
- Track fleet inspections, maintenance documentation, and compliance due dates.
- Maintain records relating to safety incidents, violations, corrective actions, and investigations.
- Assist with accident and incident documentation and administrative follow-up.
- Compile safety and fleet information to identify trends and upcoming requirements.
- Support internal safety programs,
training initiatives, and continuous-improvement projects.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of administrative, coordination, compliance, or related experience.
- Transportation, trucking, fleet safety, logistics, or regulatory compliance experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience with transportation, fleet management, or electronic recordkeeping systems is an asset.
- Familiarity with Ontario transportation regulations, MTO requirements, or hours-of-service rules is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Education
- High school diploma required.
- Post-secondary education in business administration, transportation, logistics, occupational health and safety, or a related field is considered an asset.
Compensation & Benefits
- $53,000–$69,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
