Coulter’s Furniture is seeking a full time Sales Person to join our sales team.

This position requires someone with dynamic sales skills built on an energetic personality partnered with an entrepreneurial attitude and a reputation of integrity. The ideal candidate will work directly with customers in a large furniture retail environment and offer home decorating consultation. An interior design background or strong sense of design and artistic background would be a great asset.

The decorating consultant’s goal is to maintain a high volume of sales in the store, while continuing to service established customers as well as procuring new customers using their own initiative. The Ideal candidate is comfortable generating new leads through their own initiatives, willing to travel for in-home consultations, have a minimum of 3 years sales experience and able to work retail hours including evenings and weekends. You should be comfortable working on your feet and be able to work in a large showroom independently as well as working with other team members.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Greeting and establishing a good relationship with customers

· Generating new customers through own initiatives

· Dealing directly in person with customers

· Establishing customer’s needs and closing sales

· Building and maintaining an individual customer portfolio





· Representing the store on a professional basis

· Maintain and represent the store displays in the most up-to-date furniture and interior trends

· Problem solving and finding resolution to customer concerns and issues

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Solid and proven sales skills

· Positive upbeat attitude with outstanding social/interpersonal skills is essential

· Must have strong communication skills - Multilingual speaker considered an asset

· The ability to work independently as well as working well with team members

· Have the strong organizational and time management skills

· Desire to earn unlimited income

· A passion for quality customer service

· Ability to maintain a strong customer relationship

· Availability to work nights and weekends

· Ability to work on large sales floor which could include several hours of standing and/or walking

COMPENSATION

Includes the following but not limited to:

Commission based position with guaranteed base pay

Pay: $40,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
