Sales Associate — Multi-Business Team (Perth, Ontario)

We’re a small, close-knit family of businesses in downtown Perth — a fine art gallery, a European-inspired café, a boutique furniture line, and a set of short-term rental properties — all working together under one roof. We’re looking for a Sales Associate who’s ready to jump in wherever needed and grow with us.

Studio 87 specializes in representing talented Canadian fine artists with unique practices, most of whom work within 100 km of Perth.

What You’ll Do

- Interact with customers and assist with sales across the gallery, café, and furniture showroom
- Assist with the purchasing process and arrange deliveries
- Help prepare and turn over short-term rental units, including cleaning
- Receive new merchandise and assist with visual merchandising
- Help operate our social media accounts and maintain our online store/website
- Keep the building and surrounding property looking sharp, indoors and out
- Handle day-to-day communication: mail, email, and basic admin tasks
- Pitch in on whatever the day needs — no two days look the same here
- Schedule
- Part-time or full-time available
- Weekends required; weekday shifts also available
- Open year-round, with lighter hours in the winter months
- Flexibility to work around our seasonal rhythm is a plus

- Energetic and comfortable staying active on your feet through a shift, including light lifting and cleaning
- Motivated self-starter and problem solver with good organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working in a quick-paced environment
- Proficient with computers and iOS devices; experience with Word, PowerPoint, Google, Dropbox, Shopify, and Mailchimp is a plus
- Customer service experience is essential; previous retail experience is an asset
- A team player who takes ownership and pride in the work

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
