Role Description The Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based at Listowel Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Listowel, ON. This role involves greeting and engaging with prospective customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the purchase process for recent and pre-owned vehicles.

The Sales

Consultant will conduct test drives, present vehicle features and benefits, provide transparent pricing and finance options, and support customers with trade-in evaluations.



Day-to-day responsibilities include following up with leads, maintaining product knowledge of all vehicle lines, updating CRM records, and collaborating with the sales, finance, and service teams to ensure a smooth customer experience. The role also includes contributing to dealership promotions, participating in community-focused events, and maintaining a professional, customer-centered presence on the showroom floor.

Qualifications

- Strong Sales Consulting skills, including prospecting, needs assessment, and closing sales.
- Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships and delivering a positive buying experience.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and professional written correspondence.
- Consulting skills to offer tailored vehicle and financing solutions that align with each customer’s needs and budget.
- Prior experience in automotive sales or retail sales is an asset.
- Comfort working with digital tools and CRM systems to manage leads and customer information.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work on-site full-time, including some evenings and weekends as required.
- Team-oriented mindset, reliability, and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
