Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine roofing specifications and materials needed.
- Install roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, tiles, or membranes using hand tools and power tools with precision.
- Repair or replace damaged roofing components, including flashing, vents, and gutters, ensuring waterproof integrity.
- Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks like lifting heavy materials or performing roof inspections on high structures.
- Apply caulking and sealants to joints and seams to prevent leaks and enhance durability.
- Assist with other construction tasks such as carpentry, masonry,



or concrete finishing when required to support project needs.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal; adhere strictly to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in roofing installation or repair within the construction industry.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation relevant to roofing tasks.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices for roofing projects.
- Skills in related trades such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work or concrete finishing are advantageous.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for team collaboration.
