About the Team

- Pet parents’ experience: Every day, we learn something new that helps our pet parents make better choices for their pets with our impressive knowledge of our products and passion for animals.
- Merchandising: We strive to impress our customers with the look and feel of our store. With a heavy emphasis on store presentation, our associates play an integral role in helping our pet parents find what they need right when they need it.

About the Role This is a hybrid position that combines front desk responsibilities with day-to-day salon operations. You’ll be the first person customers meet, the main point of contact throughout their visit, and the individual responsible for keeping the salon organized and running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience

- Welcome customers and their pets with a warm, professional attitude.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and text messages.
- Book, confirm, and manage appointments.
- Explain grooming services and recommend suitable add-ons.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and confidently.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records.

Salon Operations

- Open and close the salon.
- Coordinate daily schedules with groomers.
- Ensure appointments run on time.
- Monitor the quality and flow of work throughout the day.
- Perform final quality checks before pets go home.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming salon environment.




- Track inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
- Complete daily sales and operational reports.
- Communicate important updates to ownership.

Team Support

- Support groomers so they can focus on grooming.
- Help maintain a positive and respectful workplace.
- Assist in training new front desk team members as the business grows.
- Take initiative and help wherever needed.

Qualifications for the position:

·We’re looking for someone who:

- Has 4+ years of customer service experience.
- Has leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
- Is highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Can multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Is comfortable using computers, scheduling software, and POS systems.
- Enjoys working with both people and dogs.
- Remains calm under pressure and handles challenging situations professionally.

- Pet grooming salon
- Veterinary clinic
- Dog daycare

- Medical or dental office
