At Maritime Chutney, we’re passionate about creating bold, flavourful chutneys inspired by Indian spices and made right here in Nova Scotia. We love sharing our products with people at markets and events — and we’re looking for someone to help us spread the joy!

This is a casual opportunity for days when we participate in markets and events. There will be more one-day events in the future, so if you enjoy it, there could be opportunities to work with us regularly.

We’re especially looking for someone available this Sunday (Aug 31st) at the Halifax Waterfront!

What you’ll do:

- Engage with customers and encourage them to sample our chutneys.
- Capture short video clips of people’s reactions (with their consent).
- Assist with sales and running the counter as needed.
- Help create a fun, welcoming atmosphere at markets/events.

What we’re looking for:

- Friendly, approachable, and confident talking to people.
- Comfortable using a phone or camera to record video.
- Reliable and able to work on your feet in a busy setting.
- Sales or customer service experience is a plus (but not required).
- Nice to have (but not required):




- Knowledge of Indian food/spices.
- Food Handlers Certificate (big plus).
- Awareness of allergies and basic food safety.
