Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning dishes to support chefs and cooks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Support cooking processes by following recipes and instructions accurately under supervision
- Handle food items safely during storage, handling, and transportation to prevent contamination
- Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment for yourself and team members




- Support the overall flow of kitchen operations by communicating effectively with team members and responding promptly to requests

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and basic food safety practices
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and moving quickly in a busy setting
