Responsibilities and Duties

- Maintain a safe, clean and orderly working environment
- Sort scrap metal (ferrous and Non-ferrous)off conveyors at the industrial metal shredder
- General maintenance to ensure the equipment and yard are clean and organized
- Perform daily checks to ensure equipment is maintained in working order
- Sort and stack materials as directed




- Processing material customers have dropped in the bins in front of the non-ferrous shop.
- Assisting equipment operators as required
- Other duties around the yard as requested

Qualifications/Skills

- Capable of walking and standing for long periods of time
- Willing to work in all weather conditions*(rain or shine)*
- Working at heights
- Mechanically inclined
- General Labour experience
- Equipment operating experience preferred
- Scrap Metal experience preferred

This position will operate from Monday to Friday 7:00AM to 5:00PM (earlier start times may be required) and rotating Saturdays 7:00am to 12:00pm. Moffatt is committed to being inclusive in the recruitment process. Should you require accommodation, please indicate as such on your application.
