Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join Battlefords Youth Soccer as a Seasonal Part-Time Assistant. This role will initially be seasonal but has the potential to transition into a permanent part-time position based on performance and club needs. The ideal candidate should have a passion for soccer, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within our organization.

Responsibilities

- -Assist with organizing and coordinating soccer practice, events, tournaments, and games.
- -Support coaches in delivering training sessions and clinics for players of various age groups.
- -Line painting of multiple fields and upkeep of the machine
- -Help maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and conducive environment for players and coaches.
- -Provide logistical support during games and events, including setup, cleanup, and coordination of volunteers.
- -Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
- -Perform other duties as assigned by the Club Director or Board of Directors
- -Valid license or reliable transportation

Qualifications:
- -Passion for soccer and a desire to work within the sports industry.
- -Previous experience playing soccer and/or working with youth players is preferred but not required.
- -Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- -Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- -Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.




- -Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed during peak soccer seasons.
- -Ability to lift and carry equipment and perform physical tasks associated with setting up and maintaining soccer fields.

Additional Requirements: Candidates for this position will be required to undergo a criminal record check/vulnerable sector as part of the application process. Any offer of employment will be contingent upon the successful completion of this check. In addition to undergoing a criminal record check, candidates for this position must complete the Respect in Sport, Rule of Two, and Emergency Action Plan modules prior to their start date.

These training modules are essential for ensuring the safety, well-being, and positive experience of all participants within our soccer club
