We are currently seeking dependable, professional, and customer-focused Part time Security Guards to join our growing team.

Position Summary

As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for protecting people, property, and assets while maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients. Successful candidates must demonstrate professionalism, strong observational skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to respond effectively in a variety of situations.

Assignments may include commercial properties, residential buildings, construction sites, retail locations, corporate facilities, parking areas, and special events.

Key Responsibilities

- Patrol assigned properties on foot or in a company vehicle.
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other security concerns.
- Control access to client sites by verifying visitors, contractors,



and employees.
- Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and customer concerns.
- Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity reports, and shift logs.
- Identify hazards, safety concerns, and suspicious activities, and report them appropriately.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, tenants, visitors, and the public.
- Assist emergency responders when required.
- Enforce site policies and procedures while maintaining a professional and respectful approach.
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity.
- Perform other security-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Valid Manitoba Security Guard Licence (required).
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification (preferred or willing to obtain).
- Previous security experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong observation and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Basic computer skills for report writing and communication.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence is an asset for mobile patrol positions.

Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.




- Ability to conduct indoor and outdoor patrols in various weather conditions.
- Ability to climb stairs and perform regular patrol duties.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Must successfully complete any required background screening.
