About the Opportunity

PrimeStaffer is recruiting on behalf of a rapidly expanding Canadian security services company seeking an experienced and motivated Security Operations Manager to lead operations throughout Alberta.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven security professional with strong operational leadership and business development experience to play a key role in the company's continued growth.

Position Summary The Security Operations Manager will oversee all operational activities across Alberta, ensuring exceptional service delivery, regulatory compliance, employee performance, and client satisfaction. In addition to operations, this position is responsible for expanding the company's client base through strategic sales and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Operations

- Lead and oversee daily security operations across Alberta.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise security personnel.
- Ensure compliance with Alberta security legislation, licensing requirements, and company policies.
- Conduct site inspections, quality assurance audits, and performance reviews.
- Manage scheduling, staffing, payroll approvals, and operational reporting.
- Investigate incidents, client concerns, and employee performance matters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Provide after-hours operational support when required.

Business Development & Sales

- Develop and execute strategies to grow the company's presence throughout Alberta.
- Identify and secure recent business opportunities across commercial, retail, industrial, healthcare, construction, and government sectors.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and client presentations.
- Attend networking events and industry meetings.




- Meet sales and revenue growth objectives while maintaining excellent client retention.

Qualifications Required

- Minimum 5 years of experience in security operations management or a similar leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in business development and sales, preferably within the security services industry.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of Alberta security regulations and industry best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and workforce scheduling software.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Alberta.
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal record check.

Preferred

- Alberta Security Services Worker Licence.
- Experience managing multiple client sites and large security teams.
- Existing network within Alberta's commercial or security industry.
- Experience preparing proposals, tenders, and RFP responses.
